He warned the SHO of Babri police station that he should recover the Hindu girl within 24 hours, otherwise, a panchayat will be held in Adampur village for the Muslim youth on June 22. After this SHO Devendra Sharma claimed to arrest the accused as soon as possible.

In fact, the 19-year-old girl is a resident of Adampur village in the district. She had come to stay at her maternal uncle’s house in Sanauli Nagla village of Chhaprauli police station three months ago.
But suddenly she went missing under mysterious circumstances. Later it came to know that a Muslim youth had kidnapped her by persuasion. When the family lodged a missing report with the police, the accused Muslim youth threatened them that if they lodge a report, they would take away the other girl as well.
After this, the relatives told the whole thing to Swami Yashveer Singh of Baghra Ashram in Muzaffarnagar district and the workers of Hindu organizations. Hundreds of activists gathered outside the Babri police station and warned the SHO to free the Hindu girl from the clutches of the Muslim youth and arrest the accused.

Hindu organizations said that if this does not happen, a panchayat will be held in the village of the accused on June 22 and the protest will continue.
