Kalki Part 2 the second part of the 2024 mythological sci-fi movie Kalki 2898 AD is soon returning to the screen to be a sensation
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Kalki Part 2 has been a film in wait for last 2 years and finally its director Nag Ashwin has revealed the launch date for the film and has also said that the film will release soon on the screen.
Kalki 2 latest update
The filming of Kalki Part 2 has been kept as a secret for a long time. In an interview with All India Radio now director of the film has revealed he is working with the film crew for the filming of the movie and the filming is to start from next month. According to Nag Ashwin,
Work is underway for Kalki 2. We are all set to restart filming from next month and finish it as soon as possible.
Prabhas-Amitabh’s character in Kalki 2
Kalki Part 2 will continue the story from its first part, it is reported that Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas will both appear in this part as well. The character 'Supreme Yaskin' who is being played by Kamal Haasan will also be featured in significant scenes. Amitabh is playing Ashwatthama and Prabhas is said to be playing double role of Bhairava and Karna.
Deepika removed from Kalki 2
Deepika Padukone will be absent from the movie however. The actress had played Kalki’s mother in the movie but has been removed from the second part. Her exclusion from the sequel has also been announced. It has not yet been revealed as to who would be playing her character in the second part.
When is Kalki 2 releasing?
Filming for Kalki Part 2 will commence from next month and it is said that the film will be completed by April next year. The movie could release by December 2027 though the release date has not been announced.
