Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has confirmed that Jolly LLB 3 will hit theatres on September 19, 2025. Although the producers have yet to make an official announcement, Adarsh revealed the news via his Instagram account, stating that Viacom18 Studios has finalized the date for the third film in the courtroom drama franchise.
Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi Return as Dual Jollys
The film brings back Akshay Kumar as Jagdish Mishra and Arshad Warsi as Jagdish Tyagi. The franchise began with Arshad Warsi in 2013, followed by Akshay's entry in the 2017 sequel. This time, both characters are set to appear in what’s expected to be an intense courtroom face-off.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor and Shot Across India
Subhash Kapoor returns to direct the film, which was shot in Mumbai and Rajasthan. Combining humor, action, and legal drama, Jolly LLB 3 is positioned as one of the biggest Bollywood releases of 2025.
Supporting Cast and Storyline Hints
The movie features an ensemble cast including Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla, who reprises his role as the witty judge. The plot revolves around a thought-provoking legal case tackling a socially relevant issue, with the added excitement of a courtroom showdown between the two Jollys.
Delay Due to Kesari 2 Release
Originally expected to release earlier, Jolly LLB 3 was rescheduled to September because Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2 is slated for an April 18 release. The strategic shift ensures both films receive focused attention at the box office.
