Jammu and Kashmir Authorities Demolish Houses of Suspected Terrorists in Pulwama and Anantnag:

The demolition took place on Friday and included the homes of two suspected terrorists which were located in Bijbehara (Anantnag district) and Tral (Pulwama district). They are suspected to have links with the recent suicide terror attack in Pahalgam.

Asif Sheikh and Adil Thoker alias Adil Guree are the residents for the houses. They claimed both structures were damaged by controlled blasts, official source stated.

Reward for Information on Notorious Lashkar-e-Taiba Terrorists

In what is seen as a drastic measure, The Anantnag Police have issued a public notice offering a reward of 20 lacs for any information that can lead to the capture of the three alleged operatives named Adil Hussain Thokar, Ali Bhai, and Hashim Musa.

Intelligence agencies believe that these terrorists had prepared an ‘action plan’ for the terrorism in Pahalgam On April 22. There is unconfirmed news about Adil Thokar having travelled to Pakistan in 2018 and was claimed to have had training for terrorism before coming back in 2024.

TRF Suspect in Terror Attack in Pahalgam on April 22

It is alleged the attacking occurred in around 1:30 PM when the tourists were present in a major meadow in Baisaran and The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, was suspected to have claimed responsibility.

As a follow-up measure, Jammu and Kashmir police prepared these composite drawings for the witnesses which are part of the steps to try and apprehend these criminals which have done this crime. These drawings reflect the description rendered by the witnesses.

LoC Encounter: Cross Border Shooting On Tuesday Night

Some Pak soldiers were reported killing with little reason to open fire on machine guns at specific points of the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday night. Military sources indicate that Indian forces retaliated without delay and dealt with the fire from the opponent’s side.
