Shared by leaker Sonny Dickson, the new design combines glass and aluminium with a bold rear camera bar, marking a clear departure from Apple’s recent titanium-clad models.

What’s New in the iPhone 17 Pro Dummy Units?
Photos of the dummy models highlight a clear outline beneath the new camera bar, indicating where the glass will transition within the aluminium chassis. According to leaks, Apple plans to use a central rectangular glass segment, housing magnets for MagSafe compatibility while maintaining the iconic Apple logo placement.

Notably, Apple appears to be replacing the titanium frame introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro series, opting instead for a glass-aluminium hybrid to potentially boost device longevity.
iPhone 17 Pro Camera Bar: Bigger and More Complex
The rear camera module has undergone a major change. The iPhone 17 Pro models will include:

- LED flash
- LiDAR scanner
- Enhanced MagSafe support
Meanwhile, the lighter iPhone 17 Air will retain the bar design but include only a single camera lens, LED flash, and microphone.

Some industry analysts suggest that this visual overhaul is a calculated move to redirect focus from Apple’s delayed rollout of AI features, dubbed Apple Intelligence.
