Most parts of Delhi were sunny on Thursday, but there was some cloud movement during this time. Additionally, light showers occured in places such as Lodhi Road and Mayur Vihar. Because of this, the maximum temperature was lower than normal.
The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s standard observatory Safdarjung was 37.3 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was 24.6 degrees Celsius, which is below normal by 0.5 degrees. The humidity levels oscillated between 83:39 %.

Based on the CPCB data, AQI “good” is considered when it’s between zero to fifty, “satisfactory” between fifty-one to one hundred, “moderate” between one hundred to two hundred, “bad” two hundred to three hundred, “very bad” three hundred to four hundred, and “severe” four hundred to five hundred.
Forecast rain in Gurugram for the next three days
Aside from that, the weather department has forecasted rainfall coupled with strong winds in Gurugram for the next three days. Winds along with rain are expected to begin on Friday. A yellow alert has been issued regarding this from the meteorological department. On Thursday, the cold winds along with the sunny weather came as a relief from the ongoing heat, though strong sunlight in the afternoon has also contributed in increasing heat. The minimum temperature recorded in the city was 21.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 34.6 degrees Celsius.-The meteorological department believes temperature fluctuations will continue for the next few days as well.
Until the 14th of May, there are chances of light to moderate rains which will add humidity and drop the temperature moderately. Weather analysts claim that the changes are attributable to the western disturbance over the region.
Due to the western disturbance systems moving towards the region, the meteorological department says that the wind directions will change and along with high moisture levels, rains will increase. There may or may not be strong winds accompanying light to moderate rains, which will further reduce temperatures.
