Hunterganj of major crime prevented in Chatra, weapons and four interstate gangsters taken into custody
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : In Chatra, police foiled a big crime and arrested four interstate criminals along with weapons. Police seized two pistols, a pistol, four cartridges from the criminals.
Preliminary information is that criminals were preparing for a big robbery in the area of Hunterganj. SP Animesh Naithani gave this information in a press conference held in his office on Saturday.
He said that intelligence received information about a few criminals gathering in the Hunterganj police station area and planning a big crime. On this important intelligence, a special raiding team was immediately formed.
The SP said that under the leadership of Sadar SDPO Sunny Vardhan and Hunterganj police station in-charge Prabhat Kumar, the team raided the compound of the upgraded middle school located in Dumaria village and all the criminals gathered there immediately started running on seeing the police force, but the police caught them by surrounding them all within moments.
The names of the arrested criminals were Gautham Paswan, resident of Barakala village under Kothi police station area of Gaya district in Bihar, Praveen Kumar, resident of Jaigir village under Barachatti police station area, Vikas Manjhi, resident of Patwa village under Fatehpur police station area and Chintu Paswan, resident of Pindara village under Hunterganj police station area.
Important information was obtained in police interrogation of the arrested criminals, according to which the criminal network is being probed along with other criminal activities. Superintendent of Police said that in various police stations of Jharkhand and Bihar, there are more than 9 criminal cases against criminals Gautham Paswan and the criminal history of the remaining criminals are also being investigated.
Animesh Naithani said that police are always working in the district to curb crimes and maintain law and order. Action against criminals and anti-social elements will continue, because due to the alertness and immediate action of the police, a major crime of Hunterganj was stopped.
