How much cancellation charge is levied in Vande Bharat

Indian Railways charges cancellation charges on cancellation of booked tickets. Railways earn crores of rupees every year from this cancellation charge. If you have booked a ticket in the AC chair car of Vande Bharat Express and for any reason you have to cancel the ticket, then the railway will charge you a cancellation charge of Rs 180 from the base price of the ticket and will refund the remaining amount. Apart from this, if you had booked a ticket in the executive class of Vande Bharat, which now needs to be cancelled, then Rs 240 will be deducted from the base price of your ticket.

GST money is not refunded

While cancelling the ticket, the reservation charge and GST money is not refunded. On cancelling the ticket, the remaining amount is refunded after deducting the cancellation charge from the base price of the ticket. Let us tell you that Indian Railways also charges a cancellation charge of Rs 180 on third-class AC tickets. A cancellation charge of Rs 120 is charged on cancelling a sleeper class ticket and Rs 60 on cancelling a general class ticket.
