Has Mamata lost Delhi too? Bhupendra Yadav met 14 dissenting TMC MPs including Suvendu Adhikari.
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : After West Bengal, Delhi also seems to be slipping from the grip of Mamata Banerjee.Amid the internal discord in the party 14 MPs of Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday met Union Minister and senior BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav at his residence. Notably the Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari was also present at the occasion.
Sources said that Suvendu Adhikari reached Delhi today. Also present in the meeting was former Chief Minister of Tripura and leader of BJP Biplab Deb. Five MPs also met with Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy. It may be noted that Sukhendu resigned from the position of Rajya Sabha MP and also resigned from all the positions of TMC party today.

Earlier, Five MPs of TMC met Sukhendu Shekhar at Delhi. They were Sharmila Sarkar MP of Burdwan East, Prasun Banerjee MP of Howrah, Jagdish Basunia MP of Cooch Behar, Kalipad Soren MP of Jhargram, and Arup Chakraborty MP of Bankura.
What did Sukhendu Shekhar say?
According to the release issued on behalf of Sukhendu Shekhar, "By voting in the recently concluded elections the electorate of West Bengal expressed a total lack of confidence on the 15 years reign of the Trinamool Congress party, they rejected the pervasive corruption of TMC, extreme atrocity on women, anarchy, lawlessness, failure to uphold all the important sectors like education, health, industries and employment."
