Suspense Crime,Digital Desk:Heavy Rain Alert: For the residents of Delhi-NCR, the recent streak of intense heat has been extraordinarily tough to bear but now the weather appears to be coming to their aid. The India Meteorological Department has made a prediction of onset of rains in the NCR region from today and expects it to persist for 6 days consecutively. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Delhi and its suburbs like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad. There is an anticipation of heavy winds and thunderstorms also during this time.

These changes in temperatures are likely to provide a relief to the residents from extreme heat. This shift changes will be pleasant for the people.

Thunderstorms alongside rainfall will also be experienced.  

In the India Meteorological Department, weatherman forecast on May 1, 2, and 3 NCR will experience severe dusty winds which will be upto 50 kilometer per hour. The climate seems to be changing after around mid-day, the winds may pick up and there is a possibility of light showers in the evening.  

Yellow alert has been issued.  

For these three days between May 1, 2 and 3, IMD has issued yellow warning. May 4, 5 and 6 are expected to enjoy milder and more relaxed showers of rain. Expect lots of continuous active swirling weather systems as well as highly volatile temperature during this period.  

Warning to avoid being outside during severe winds or lightning strikes.  

Strong caution has been recommended by Meteorological Department during thunderstorms. Strong dusty winds coming from outside may warrant staying indoors. There is a high risk of lightning striking from the clouds. Non essential travel should be avoided.

Update for today's Weather and AQI

This is how the weather report of different parts of Delhi-NCR looks like today. In Delhi, the Capital, the maximum temperature was reported to be at 36 degree Celsius and the minimum at 25 degree Celsius, and the air quality here was also at a very poor level i.e. 241 AIQI. Meanwhile, in Noida, it was slightly hotter at 37 degrees / 26 degrees Celsius, but the good news is that the air there was relatively clean and the AQI was in the satisfactory category at 126. Ghaziabad and Gurugram also recorded similar temperatures of 37 degrees maximum and 26 degrees minimum. While the air quality was moderate for Gurugram with AQI standing at 154. There is a slight improvement in the air quality as compared to previous reporting period.

The cooling breeze will come back once again

The good news is that the wether will become little cooler and along with light rain fall and cold winds accompanied by the wind may make the weather more pleasant, respectively. With a note of caution, one must deal with this sort of pleasant weather beg to differ becase it can quickly turn dangerous.
