The air quality in the national capital fell into the 'moderate’ rank with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 108 after two days of sitting comfortably in the 'satisfactory’ range. This happened on Monday when the capital city was recovering from two days of “satisfactory air” intake.
On Saturday, the cleanest day in terms of air quality in the first quarter of the year over the past three years, recorded 85 for the first ‘satisfactory’ day in 2023. As per the feedback given by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), as noted on Sunday, Delhi was at 99 which helped it sit pretty for two days thanks to the mark being recorded.
The Air Quality Index is divided into scales bases how the air quality is. Be it 0-50 'good,' 51-100 'satisfactory,' 101-200 'moderate,' 201-300 'poor,' 301-400 'very poor,' and 401-500 'severe. A forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) showed Delhi being a little warmer with 29.2 degrees Celsius marking winters which appears to be extremely low by 2.1 degree.
Humidity around the capital has been documented at 74 per cent along with standard temperatures marking around 17 and 32 degrees Celsius which is expected as feedback from the IMD.
A prediction from the IMD appeared to suggest that expected impressive speeds could hand out helping hands to push out pollution and dirt from the environment. Relative measures enabled them to predict the breeze to effortlessly clear out the remaining dust that is settled making it easier to breathe. In summary, temperatures are approximated to be around 16.8 degrees and lower humidity clear.
