The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the annual player contracts for the Senior Men’s Team for the 2024-25 season, which will run from October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025.

In more updates, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have been brought back into the contracts for this season. Iyer has been place in Grade B, while Kishan has returned in Grade C after being moved for his impressive stint during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Iyer’s inclusion comes after a productive Champions Trophy campaign where he emerged as India’s leading run-scorer, amassing 243 runs with an average of 48.60 during five matches. He has shown signs of his form during this IPL 2025 season where he captains the Punjab Kings. Kishan, however, has not returned to the international cricket fold yet.

Grade A+ Retains Core Veterans Despite T20I Retirement

It was thought that Kohli, Rohit, and spinners Jasprit as well as Ravindra would be dropped following their T20 International retirement, but have been retained in the Grade A+ category. These players are entitled to an annual remuneration of ₹7 crore.”
