Ningbo (China): In the Badminton Asia Championships 2025, the last two hopeing for the glory from India Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto were defeated in the quarterfinals of Mixed Doubles.

Kapila and Crasto lost to Hong Kong’s fifth seed pair of Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet with a score of 22-20, 21-13.

Kapila and Crasto competed with Ye Hong Wei and Nicole Chan from Chinese Taipei and edged them 12-21, 21-16, 21-18 at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium on Thursday. The pair of Indians lost thr opening game 12-21 but won the second game 21-16 and then won the final game 21-18.

As for other matches, India’s campaign in the singles was ended on Thursday with ace shuttler PV Sindhu, Priyanshu Rajawat and Kiran George meeting and losing their respective second round matches.
