A shocking case of murder has surfaced from Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. A woman named Muskan, who worked as a dancer, had been missing since February 18. A missing person report was filed at Civil Lines Police Station on February 28 by her maternal uncle, who raised concerns over her sudden disappearance. Muskan’s sister also joined efforts in searching for her.

In the complaint, Muskan’s family accused her partner Rizwan, a resident of Ujhani town, of kidnapping and murdering her. Following a detailed investigation, police arrested Rizwan and recovered Muskan’s body from a field based on his confession.

Body Recovered in Field; Three Arrested

Police took action and detained Rizwan, a resident of Allahpur Bhogi village in Ujhani. On his information, the authorities located Muskan’s body buried in a field. Along with Rizwan, two other suspects—Ramavatar and Radheshyam—have also been arrested for their alleged involvement in the crime.

The recovered body has been sent for post-mortem examination.

Confession from the Accused Rizwan

During police interrogation, Rizwan reportedly admitted to having known Muskan for four years. He claimed that their relationship became stressful over time. Muskan, who had a child and no living parents, allegedly began pressuring Rizwan to stay with her and demanded financial support.

Rizwan stated, “I was giving her ₹10,000 every month, but she started demanding ₹40,000 and began harassing me.” He said he confided in his friend Ramavatar about the situation. According to the police, Rizwan confessed that he, along with Ramavatar and Radheshyam, killed Muskan and buried her body.
