Mumbai: NCP Ajit Pawar faction leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead on Saturday night. Today he was buried in the Bada Kabristan of Marine Lines. A huge crowd of people was seen in his funeral procession. Baba Siddiqui’s mother and aunt were also buried in the same Bada Kabristan where Baba Siddiqui was buried.

The accused of this incident have also been caught but its strings are connected to notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Baba Siddiqui was a popular face in Maharashtra politics. He left Congress this year and joined the NCP (Ajit faction). He was known for throwing grand Iftar parties, which were attended by famous Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, and Shahrukh Khan. His parties were full of big and small stars of Bollywood. He was in Congress for 48 years and was also an MLA from Bandra West thrice. He was also a state minister in Maharashtra.
