Allahabad HC Denies Parole to Atiq Ahmed's Lawyer Vijay Mishra:

Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Allahabad High Court has dealt a severe setback to Mafia figure Atiq Ahmeed’s associate, lawyer Vijay Mishra. The parole plea of lawyer Vijay Mishra has been dismissed by the high court. The high court was approached by Vijay Mishra seeking bail in order to attend the funeral of his mother. Through legal counsel, Jahid Balkhi, Jailed Vijay Mishra sought short-term bail of 20 days from the court.

In this context, responding to the request made by the jail inmate, advocate Manju Singh, representing Vijay Mishra, noted that the short-term bail would enable the defendant to participate in his mother’s last rites, specifically the thirteenth day rituals. Special bench of Allahabad High Court dismissed Vijay Mishra’s appeal during the case hearing which was scheduled at 8 pm on Sunday.

Vijay Mishra has been implicated in the Umesh Pal murder case.

Lawyer Vijay Mishra appears to be a suspect in the notorious Umesh Pal murder case that happened on 24th February 2023 and is said to be imprisoned in Etawah jail. While debating in court, government advocate Ashutosh Sand said in court that Mishra’s mother’s funeral has been conducted by hear family. After listening to both sides, the special bench dismissed Mishra’s appeal. In the case decision, Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh of the single bench stated that the bail application of Vijay Mishra is dismissed.
