Islamabad:  After the government’s strictness in Pakistan, Imran Khan’s party has announced to end its protest. Let us tell you that due to the PTI protest, security personnel took strict action at midnight after heavy ruckus and violence in D Chowk and its surrounding areas in the capital Islamabad. After this, supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to end of the protest. However, no disclosure has been made about what will be Imran Khan’s future strategy after this.

Let us tell you that Imran Khan’s party PTI termed the action of the security personnel as an attempt at “genocide” carried out by the “fascist military regime”. Police sources said that about 450 protesters have been arrested. Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that the security forces opened fire on the protesters to kill as many people as possible. Earlier on Tuesday evening, PTI supporters clashed with officers of law enforcement agencies, after which they succeeded in staging a sit-in at D-Chowk as part of the Islamabad March that began on Sunday. Six security personnel were killed and dozens were injured in clashes between supporters and the police.

Bushra Bibi had made this announcement but had to back out

.Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, who led the march from Peshawar to Islamabad along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, said the protesters would not leave until Khan was released from jail. However, security personnel continued their efforts to remove them from the area. The D-Chowk houses the President’s House, the Prime Minister’s Office, Parliament, and the Supreme Court. Around midnight, police and Rangers launched an operation to clear the Blue Area business area, forcing the PTI to call off its protest.

PTI made serious allegations against the government

Reacting to the action, the PTI accused the government of using violence and attempting to kill hundreds of its workers. “An attempted genocide has been committed in Pakistan at the hands of security forces under the brutal, fascist military regime led by the Shahbaz-Zardari-Asim coalition. The country is witnessing bloodshed,” the PTI said in a post on Twitter. The 72-year-old former prime minister, who has been in jail since August last year, had given a “final call” for a nationwide protest on November 24.

He made this call on November 13. Khan had condemned the alleged theft of the mandate, unjust arrests of people,e and the passing of the 26th amendment to the Constitution. On the 26th amendment to the Constitution, he said that it has strengthened the “dictatorial rule”. Khan has been lodged in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi since last year and according to his party, more than 200 cases are registered against him.
