Action against mining mafia in Nurpur, 10 tractors including two JCBs seized

Dharamshala, 23 May (Hindustan Times). Police district Noorpur seized 10 tractors including two JCBs in a crackdown on mining mafia late on Monday night. The police seized these vehicles while doing illegal mining in Lodhwan late at night.

SP Noorpur Ashok Ratna said the police received information that some tractors including JCB were mining near Lodhwan. The police formed a team and reached the spot of the incident, seized these vehicles and registered a case under the Mining Act.

He said that the police is working strictly against illegal mining.
