After one month of violence during the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, UP on 24th November, police has arrested and sent to jail more than 50 accused. Police is also investigating the Sambhal violence from the terrorist angle. The intelligence inputs received during the investigation of the violence have created a stir. There is a possibility of the violence being linked to terrorist activities. SIT suspects that people of ISI and Al Qaeda organization living in Deepa Sarai and Nakhasa of Sambhal had supplied weapons and funded the riot. The intelligence department's first suspicion is on Shariq Satha, a resident of Sambhal, who is a member of terrorist Dawood's gang.

More than 50 cases are registered against Shariq in different states. He fled to Dubai a few years ago. Police suspect that Shariq sent weapons along with funding for the violence that took place on November 24, after which his henchmen carried out the incident. Apart from this, the intelligence department of Sambhal police has identified five more terrorists who are related to Sambhal. Police suspect that one of these five might have supplied them with the weapons and money used in the violence in Sambhal. Two important names among the five terrorists are Shahid Akhtar and Usman Hussain.

Today the SP delegation will be in control

On the instructions of Akhilesh, this delegation of SP MPs and MLAs will meet the families of those killed in the Sambhal violence today.

Earlier, the SP delegation had tried to go to Sambhal but the police had stopped them. Now today once again the SP delegation is reaching Sambhal. This delegation includes MPs Harendra Malik, Ruchi Veera, Iqra Hasan, Ziaur Rahman Barq and Neeraj Maurya. Apart from these, MLAs Iqbal Mahmood, Pinky Yadav and Kamal Akhtar will also reach Sambhal today. Sambhal MP Ziaur Rahman Barq is reaching Sambhal for the first time after the violence today.
