A marriage is defined as the union of two individuals who are joined together for life. In this relationship, both husband and wife especially need to function as that of a partner and friend to one another. Some attributes of a good husband may vary with time and society, certain attributes will always stay the same.

A man can be a good life partner only if he possesses at least one of these five ‘marriageable’ qualities. - Good husbands treat their wives as equals so the notion of respect is always mutual. It is clear to him that a wife is a human being with thoughts, goals, and emotions. Such a husband empowers his wife and appreciates her decisions.

- Relations are not perfect and there are bound to be certain conflicts from time to time. In such circumstances, a good husband is understanding and acts with tact. He is attentive to his wife and uses his active listening to solve issues.
