11 Mega Parks, Food Parks in all 38 Districts; Samrat Chaudhary announces huge investment

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary made an important announcement to boost industry and large scale investment in the state on Wednesday. The CM has announced that 11 mega parks will be built in the state, and that food parks will be constructed in all the 38 districts. The officials have been asked to take necessary measures to expedite the construction as soon as possible. The CM was in a high-level review meeting with the Industry Department at his residence in Patna where he has asked to emphasize on growth in industrial development, self employment and entrepreneurship in both urban and rural areas of Bihar.

The Chief Minister of Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary informed the officials in the meeting that in order to provide land to the industries for industrial development a land bank of 50,000 acres needs to be developed. He further directed them to coordinate with concerned departments and facilitate the speedy allotment of land to the industries.

The CM suggested that the District Magistrates should communicate the land acquisition process to the concerned people, get their consent by giving appropriate compensation and all the new industrial units should get the necessary incentives in time. He informed that 11 Mega Parks and Food parks should be constructed in all the 38 districts of Bihar.

Investment will become easy for Investors

According to the CM, Bihar has to become a leading state in ease of doing business, all industrial permission processes need to be simpler and transparency needs to be established in these processes so that the investment will pour in.

Focus on Entrepreneurship in rural areas

He also asked to initiate suitable measures to increase entrepreneurship in rural areas, which would lead to self-employment opportunities for youth in cities as well as villages of the state.

He further informed that food processing, textiles, pharmaceutical industries and MSMEs have tremendous potential to be developed and asked to develop a textile industrial center in Bihar. It is needed to strengthen the startup eco-system which would generate more and more opportunities for the youth. He stressed on the need of prompt resolution to the industrial issues.

Government to ask advice from industrialist

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary told the review meeting that industry development has the potential to turn the fortune of the state and Bihar has to be made investor-friendly state by creating a conducive environment for them. He also asked the officials to take suggestion from the Industrialist, industrial organizations and entrepreneurs from the state.

Those present in the meeting included the Minister of Industry, Shreyashi Singh, Chief Advisor to Chief Minister, Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary, Pratyay Amrit, Secretaries to the Chief Minister, Lokesh Singh and Sanjay Singh, Secretary of Industry Department, Kundan Kumar, Special Secretary of the Department, Arvind Kumar Verma, Director, MSME, Aman Sameer, Director, Handloom and Silk production, Vidyanand Singh and many other officials.
