Suspense crime, Digital Desk : A joyous wedding celebration in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, quickly spiraled into chaos as a heated argument over a food shortage erupted into a full-scale brawl between the bride's and groom's families.

The incident took place in the Nagina area of Bijnor, where the bride's family (gharatis) was hosting the groom's wedding party (baratis), who had traveled from the nearby town of Dhampur. Tensions flared during the dinner service when guests from the groom's side began to complain loudly about the lack of food, reportedly upset about a shortage of popular dishes.

What started as verbal complaints soon escalated into a physical altercation. The bride's family's attempts to pacify the disgruntled guests failed, and the wedding hall became a scene of pandemonium. A video of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media, shows chairs being thrown and people engaged in a chaotic scuffle as the celebration devolved into a fistfight.

Local police were quickly called to the scene to handle the disturbance. Officers intervened to separate the fighting parties and managed to restore a semblance of order to the disrupted ceremony.

Remarkably, after the police-enforced truce, the remaining wedding rituals were completed, and the couple was formally married. The incident, however, has become a talking point online, serving as a wild cautionary tale about the high stakes of wedding hospitality in India.
