Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Veteran Tamil cinema actor Super Good Subramani succumbed to the battle with cancer on May 10 in Chennai, at the age of 58. He was fighting cancer and was rushed to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital last week. According to doctors, he was critically ill and his cancer had spread severly. It was already attacking the brain and other areas of body, which was not healthy at all. He did his best to survive and was receiving intensive care, but unfortunately was unable to pull through.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter currently enrolled in Class 11, and a son who is in Class 9. His body was delivered to his home located in West Mambalam on the night of May 9. The body was set to be buried on May 10 in Chennai.
Fans and other members of the film world have shown a lot of grief over his death, stating that he was a colourful person and a dedicated actor. Subramani's career in films began when he was a assistant director for well known directors like Saravana Subbiah and Pavithran. His primary focus was directing, but the shortage of work made him divert into acting.
He built a reputation as a reliable character actor over the past thirty years. Film enthusiasts appreciated his work in Pariyerum Perumal, Kaala, Pisasu, Rajini Murugan, Jai Bhim, Vaanam Kottattum, and he also starred in the lead role in Paramaan. He became affectionately known as 'Super Good Subramani' on account of his enduring relationship with Super Good Films.
Subramani's ethos to keep working while being unwell showcases his undying enthusiasm for cinema. His work ethic and commitment resonated with his peers and fans alike. The Tamil film industry is saddened by the news of his passing and many have taken this as an opportunity to celebrate his life and achievements in the cinema world.
