The Congress must immediately apologize for using inappropriate language regarding the Prime Minister’s revered father: Keshav Prasad Maurya
Expressing strong disapproval of the indecent language used by Congress leaders, Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that the Congress has insulted not only the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, but also the people of the country who elevated him to the office of Prime Minister. The Congress must immediately apologize to the nation for this conduct.
Shri Maurya remarked that while political opposition is an inherent part of democracy, abandoning the norms of decent language and basic values in the name of opposition is unacceptable under any circumstances. Making derogatory remarks even about the late parents of the Prime Minister reflects the narrow-minded political outlook and the declining standards of the Congress. The people of this country will not tolerate such insults and will certainly hold the Congress accountable.
The Deputy Chief Minister noted that the son of poor parents has reached the nation’s highest executive office through his own hard work, dedication, and service to the public—a testament to the strength of India’s democracy. In its desperation to regain power, the Congress appears to have forgotten the importance of maintaining decorum in its discourse. While every individual in a democracy has the right to express their views, this right must be exercised with a sense of responsibility and decency.
Shri Maurya emphasized that the ethos of the Bharatiya Janata Party is not to respond to abuse with abuse, but to engage with the public through democratic means. The people of the country will respond to the Congress through their vote, teaching a lesson to the party for its arrogance and indecent political conduct.
The Deputy Chief Minister demanded that the Congress immediately apologize to the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and to the people of the nation. He stated unequivocally that any insult directed at the Prime Minister—and at the citizens who granted him his mandate—will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
