Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya heard public grievances during a 'Janata Darshan' (public hearing) and issued instructions for their time-bound resolution
Before departing for Mainpuri and Farrukhabad, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya listened to the grievances of citizens from various parts of the state during a 'Janata Darshan' (public grievance redressal session) held at his official residence, 7 Kalidas Marg, in Lucknow. He issued necessary directives to the concerned officials to ensure the appropriate, timely, and high-quality resolution of these public issues. Shri Maurya emphasized that resolving the problems faced by the common people is among the government's top priorities; any negligence or unnecessary delay at any level will not be tolerated.
The Deputy Chief Minister instructed officials to treat every complaint received during the 'Janata Darshan' with the utmost seriousness and to take immediate, necessary action toward its resolution. He stressed that the process of addressing grievances must be characterized by sensitivity, promptness, transparency, and accountability. He noted that the 'Janata Darshan' serves as a vital platform for addressing public concerns, with the primary objective of providing relief to those in distress and ensuring an effective resolution to their problems.
Shri Maurya stated that the state government is committed to providing employment and self-employment opportunities for the youth, fostering economic self-reliance among women, and extending social security to the weaker and needy sections of society. He directed officials to ensure that the benefits of schemes related to employment and youth welfare reach eligible young individuals, and to create avenues for their advancement through skill development initiatives, job fairs, and self-employment programs.
The Deputy Chief Minister further directed that pensions for widows, the elderly, and persons with disabilities be disbursed regularly to eligible beneficiaries, and that any pending applications from eligible individuals be processed and resolved expeditiously. He also emphasized the importance of issuing 'Ayushman Cards' to eligible families under the 'Ayushman Bharat' scheme, ensuring they can access the healthcare facilities provided under the program.
Shri Maurya reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of public welfare schemes. He urged officials to review the implementation of these schemes at the grassroots level and to address any issues that arise on a priority basis. Negligence in matters concerning the public interest will not be accepted. All officials should work with a spirit of public service and ensure that relief reaches the common people in a timely manner.
