Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya sanctioned housing for underprivileged women in Amethi. With the aim of positively improving the living standards of women from poor and marginalized sections, he distributed sanction letters and 'demo' cheques worth ₹1.20 lakh to 18 eligible beneficiaries under the *Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana* (Chief Minister's Housing Scheme). Door-to-door assistance: The Deputy Chief Minister visited Odari village and personally handed over the housing sanction letter and cheque to the scheme's beneficiary, Krishna Maurya, at her home. Benefits of other schemes: In the village, beneficiaries such as Nirmala, Siyaraji, Seema, Shanti Devi, and Sumitra were provided with housing sanction letters, widow pension benefits, income and caste certificates, and a sanction letter for ₹5 lakh under the *Krishak Durghatna Yojana* (Farmers' Accident Scheme).
Upon arriving in Odari village, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the home of *Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana* beneficiary Smt. Krishna Maurya to present the sanction letter and demo cheque, and interacted with the family to understand their concerns. He directed officials to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of these schemes on a priority basis.
In his address, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the 'double-engine' of development and public welfare is moving at full speed in Uttar Pradesh. Efforts to provide amenities such as housing, free food grains, Ujjwala gas connections, Ayushman Bharat coverage, electricity, clean drinking water, healthcare, education, and employment to the poor are continuing uninterrupted. The government's goal is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the person standing at the very last rung of society. The 'double-engine' BJP government is committed to ensuring that poor, marginalized, destitute, and needy families have the right to live with dignity. Government schemes are not merely confined to paperwork; officials and public representatives are continuously working to ensure their benefits reach eligible individuals. By providing permanent housing to poor women and families from weaker sections, the government is bringing about a lasting change in their lives. A house is not just a structure of four walls; it is the foundation for a family's security, dignity, and a better future. Through the *Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana* and *Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana*, the dream of owning a permanent home has become a reality for lakhs of families.
