Ever since the day America Donald Trump returned to power, there has been a stir not only in America but all over the world. Trump`s tariff policy as well as immigration rules has created a turmoil all over the world. Ever since Trump returned to power, the US administration has been showing a lot of strictness regarding the rules rules of immigation. ILlegal immigrants have been deported by America by the thousands in recent times, and hundreds of Indians are also included in them. In the meantime, US administration's warning for immigrants living in America has heightened the worry of millions of people.
The warning was shared online using social media by the US Department. The department has uploaded a post on their official social media account. The department wrote on the post, “The scrutiny of US visa does not cease after the issuance of the visa. There is never a moment wherein we do not monitor what our visa holders do. If there is any unlawful behavior coupled with any violation of immigration rules from any visa holder, which most certainly there will be, then the visa will be revoked and immigration to America would not be possible. In essence, even those who have managed to obtain a visa to either work or live in America will always be under the watchful eye of the US government.
Owning a green card has its limits when it comes to permanent residency.
As you may know, the US Green Card or Permanent Resident Card permits the immigrant to live and work in the United States forever. And yet, as Vice President J.D. Vance pointed out, possessing a green card does not mean an individual can stay forever. With such developments, all Indian green card holders in America are on panic mode. At the same time, Indians living in America and wishing to take a break back home seem to be more stressed. There’s always the looming possibility that they may not be allowed back into America with the new policies should they decide to travel to India.
