Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Major Indian airlines, including Air India and Vistara, have suspended flights to Israel and are rerouting other international flights to avoid Iranian airspace, causing significant disruption for travelers. The move comes as a direct response to the escalating military tensions between Iran and Israel, which have made the region a potential conflict zone.

Following Iran's large-scale drone and missile attack on Israel, airlines are taking urgent safety precautions. Flights from India to Europe and the United States, which typically fly over Iran, are now being diverted to alternative, longer routes. This will result in increased flight times and potential delays for passengers.

Air India has officially suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv until April 20. Vistara has also confirmed it is adjusting flight paths for its routes to the West, and budget carrier IndiGo is rerouting its flights from Delhi to Istanbul. Meanwhile, Air India Express has cancelled its flights to Dubai.

The disruption reflects the seriousness of the situation on the ground. The Indian government has also taken action, with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issuing a strong travel advisory. The advisory urges all Indian citizens to avoid traveling to both Iran and Israel until further notice.

For Indians already in these countries, the MEA has advised them to exercise the "utmost caution" about their safety and to limit their movements to essential work only. They have also been asked to register with the Indian embassies in Tehran or Tel Aviv to ensure they can be contacted in an emergency.

As the situation remains volatile, travelers with upcoming international flights, particularly to Europe and the Middle East, are advised to check directly with their airlines for the latest updates on schedules and potential cancellations.
