Suspense crime, Digital Desk : A wave of shock and grief has swept through Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, after a family of three—a husband, wife, and their young son—were found dead inside their home in a suspected case of suicide.

The tragic discovery was made on Tuesday in the Puranpasi area of the city. According to reports, neighbors became concerned when the family had not been seen all morning. When they received no response after knocking, they alerted the local police.

Upon entering the rented house, authorities found the bodies of Amit Singh, his wife Preeti, and their son, Shivansh.

Preliminary investigations by the police point towards a possible suicide pact driven by overwhelming financial distress. It is believed that the family consumed a poisonous substance. Sources suggest that Amit Singh was struggling with significant debt, which may have led the couple to take this devastating step.

Senior police officials, including the Superintendent of Police, rushed to the scene to oversee the investigation. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to confirm the exact cause of death.
