Thug Life’s First Single “Jinguchaa” Launches at Grand Chennai Event Ahead of June Release

As part of an over-the-top affair on the 18th of April, 2025, right in Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai, Thug Life’s first single, “Jinguchaa”, was released. The event was graced by some of the finest names in South Indian cinema and music, like Trisha Krishnan, Joju George, Kamal Haasan, Siva, Silambarasan TR, Ashok Selvan, the barbed wire conductor A.R. Rahman and Mani Ratnam.  

Thug Life – A Mega Cinematic Collaboration  

Indian cinema is set an unmatched record in multi flag motion pictures, all thanks to alias Thug Life. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam, and Siva Ananth and Madras Talkies, R. Mahendran and Raaj Kamal Films International produced it together.  

About the Song: Jinguchaa  

A South Indian traditional style wedding is characterized by the blink of an eye changing “banger” “”Jinguchaa””. The track was composed by A.R. Rahman and features dance by Silambarasan TR and Kamal Haasan who electrifies us along with the South infused “‘pop’pstyle monsterness.  

Kamal is glimmering in a blue sherwani, roaring with grace while performing.  

Sanya alongside Simbu brings life to the screen with their whip fast rhythmic dance number.  
 
The song would definitely call out for new steps along its lyrics by Kamal Haasan showering the celebratory spirit.

Saregama will own the audio rights while the OTT rights are with the Netflix for the film.  

Thug Life Festival in Sydney  

This international promotion will happen in collaboration with Just Grow Productions where they announced their Thug Life Festival in Sydney set for May 23, 2025. A.R. Rahman will perform live at the festival.
