Leader of the Opposition Tejaswi Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Bihar government following a series of gruesome crimes in Araria. Expressing deep concern over the law-and-order situation, the RJD leader targeted both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, questioning the "double-engine" government's silence on rising violence.
Back-to-Back Horrific Crimes in Araria Spark Outrage
The political atmosphere in Bihar heated up after two shocking incidents were reported from Araria district. The first involved a brutal murder where a person’s head was severed, and the second was a reported case of mob lynching. Tejaswi Yadav took to social media to highlight these incidents, claiming that criminals have no fear of the law under the current regime.
"Double Engine or Double Trouble?" - Tejaswi Questions Governance
In his critique, Yadav pointed out that while the NDA government talks about 'Good Governance' (Sushasan), the reality on the ground is starkly different. He questioned why PM Modi, who often speaks about security and peace, remains silent when Bihar is witnessing such "Talibani" style crimes. He alleged that the Nitish-Modi alliance has failed to protect the common citizens of Bihar.
Rise in Mob Lynching and Brutal Killings
The RJD leader emphasized that Araria has become a flashpoint for lawlessness. He stated that "Jungle Raj" is not a term to be used for the past, but is a living reality today under the NDA rule. By highlighting the mob lynching incident, he suggested a breakdown of the social fabric and the police's inability to maintain communal harmony and individual safety.
Demand for Immediate Accountability and Justice
Tejaswi Yadav has demanded an immediate high-level inquiry into the Araria incidents. He urged the Bihar Police to act swiftly and impartially, ensuring that the perpetrators of the beheading and the mob violence are brought to justice. The opposition has signaled that it will continue to corner the government on the issue of 'Crime and Corruption' in the upcoming assembly sessions.
