Interestingly, the information of such employees has been given to the department only by the companies in which they are working.
Along with this, the Income Tax Department has issued notices to the people and sought answers after tracking all the transactions done from abroad. Also orders have been given to pay tax along with penalty on taxable income. During the Corona period, people were working from home, so many people joined different companies as a side income. After this information came to light, many big companies had shown the way out to moonlighting employees.
