The rocket was launched from SpaceX’s enormous Boca Chica rocket facilities in Texas, approximately at 6:30 pm ET (2330 GMT) The Super Heavy first stage booster performed the return back to earth as expected, and was caught mid-air by a SpaceX crane.
In a considerable loss for SpaceX, SpaceX's Starship spacecraft was incinerated in space while floating just a few moments after launching from Texas on Thursday. This marks the second time this year that a SpaceX Starship has exploded mid-launch.
Many users on social media showed clips of the burning particles falling down near southern Florida along with the Bahamas region.
This was the eighth attempt at Starship execution and certainly comes after failure for the seventh as well, which also was completely blown apart at the end.

Standing at a height of 403 feet (123 metres) tall, and able to achieve that amazing fuel to weight ratio of 1, the Starship is the most powerful launch vehicle ever constructed on earth. This super launch rocket is central to Elon Musk’s dreams, of sending people to Mars by the early 2030s.
A few moments later, SpaceX's live stream was showing the upper stage of the Starship spinning while the rocket's engine visuals indicated shut down of the majority of the engines. The company later claimed that they had lost contact with the ship and announcers connected the dots with the previous flight.
“It is confirmed that we lost contact with the ship performantly. It's unfortunate that this occurred the last time too,” stated the SpaceX spokesman Dan Huot.
SpaceX, in a statement released by them, explained that the aft portion of Starship was subjected to an “energenic event” during which the loss of a few Raptor engines was noted.
“Raptor engines being lost led to a loss of control with the attitude and an eventual loss of contact with Starship. 9 minutes and 30 seconds after lifting off were the last moments Starship was in communication.” said the statement.
As per the statement, there are no dangerous components in the remains of the Starship and no noticeable harm is expected to damage marine life or water creatures or change the quality of the water.
According to Reuters, the Federal Aviation Administration placed temporary stop orders for the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Orlando airports due to “space launch debris.” The federal body stated that they have started an inquiry into the incident.
