Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Millions of candidates who appeared for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) General Duty (GD) Constable examination are eagerly awaiting the announcement of their results. The anticipation is high as the commission is expected to declare the outcome soon on its official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC GD Constable exam was conducted across the country in February and March 2024, with a re-examination for certain centers also held on March 30, 2024. Following the examinations, the provisional answer key was released, allowing candidates to raise objections if any. With this process now completed, the focus has entirely shifted to the declaration of the final results.
While the SSC has not yet announced a specific date for the result declaration, it is widely anticipated that they will be published shortly. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) for the latest updates and notifications regarding the result announcement. Many also keep an eye on popular job information portals like "Sarkari Result" for timely information, although the official SSC site remains the definitive source.
Once the written exam results are out, candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for the subsequent stages of the selection process. These include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's performance across all these stages. The recruitment drive aims to fill numerous constable vacancies in various central armed police forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.
