
Famed sitarist Rishab Sharma is currently touring with a ten city Sitar for Mental Health tour. His concerts in Delhi on April 6 and in Mumbai on April 13 led to public interest that forced a second show in Mumbai.
As a younger disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar, Sharma has continued the blending of classical Indian music and pop tunes to offer audiences a unique experience.
Sharma Plays Sitar For Potters Theme
Some of the magic at Sharma’s concert in Mumbai happened when he played Hedwig's Theme, one of the themes from Harry Potter, which was originally written by John Williams. The song went viral after John William’s fans along with numerous Potterhead’s saw the sitar version online.
