Suspense crime, Digital Desk : A late-night party attended by renowned Tollywood playback singer Mangli (Satyavathi Mangli) was raided by Hyderabad police following a tip-off about illegal activities. The raid took place at a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city where a birthday celebration was underway.

Acting on credible information about a potential rave party, police conducted a search of the premises. During the raid, authorities discovered that liquor was being served well past the legally permitted hours. More significantly, they seized a quantity of ganja (marijuana) from the location, leading to immediate legal action.

A case has been officially registered under the stringent Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The party's organizer, G. Sujan Kumar, and several others were taken into custody by the police for further questioning.

According to reports, singer Mangli was present at the event, which was reportedly a birthday celebration for a friend, but had departed before the police raid commenced. Her team has since issued a clarification, stating that she attended briefly as a guest and has no connection whatsoever to the alleged illegal activities or the substances found at the party.

The incident has nevertheless drawn significant media attention, highlighting the police's crackdown on illegal rave parties and substance abuse in the region.
