Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In the wake of the shocking death of actress Shefali Jariwala, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, has been cast into the public spotlight. While he is now known as the grieving husband of the "Kaanta Laga girl," Tyagi is an established and successful actor in his own right with a notable career in the Indian television industry.

Born and raised in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, Parag Tyagi moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting dreams. He became a familiar face to television audiences with his roles in several popular daily soaps. He is widely recognized for playing Vinod, the elder brother of the protagonist Manav (played by the late Sushant Singh Rajput), in the hit show Pavitra Rishta. He also gained acclaim for his powerful negative role as Sharifuddin Hussain in the historical drama Jodha Akbar and as the titular antagonist in the supernatural thriller Brahmarakshas.

Parag and Shefali’s relationship was also a part of their public lives. The couple showcased their chemistry and dancing skills as contestants on the celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye 5. Later, when Shefali participated in the highly-watched Bigg Boss 13, Parag was her staunchest supporter from the outside. He made headlines when he entered the house as a guest and memorably confronted fellow contestant Asim Riaz for his behavior towards Shefali.

Tragically, Parag also shared a close friendship with the late Sidharth Shukla, Shefali’s friend and fellow Bigg Boss contestant, whose own sudden death in 2021 shocked the nation.

Having been married to Shefali since 2015, Parag Tyagi is now navigating an immense personal loss. As an actor who has spent years in the demanding world of showbiz, he is now facing his most difficult role yet: a life without his beloved partner.
