Suspense crime, Digital Desk : A young Pakistani social media influencer, 19-year-old Sana Yousuf, has been tragically shot dead at her home in Faisalabad. Authorities are treating the case as a suspected "honour killing," with her own father and brother named as the prime suspects in the horrifying incident.
Yousuf, who had garnered a following on platforms like TikTok for her content, was reportedly attacked within her residence. Initial police investigations point towards a brutal act allegedly committed to preserve the family's "honour," a motive often cited in such killings where women are targeted by male relatives for perceived transgressions against conservative familial or cultural norms.
According to police officials, Sana's father, identified as Yousuf, and her brother, Hamza Yousuf, are believed to be responsible for her murder. Both suspects are currently absconding, and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend them. Police statements indicate that Sana was shot multiple times.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community and once again highlighted the persistent and deeply disturbing issue of violence against women in the name of honour in Pakistan.
