Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In a significant escalation of rhetoric, Pakistan's Army Chief, General Asim Munir, visited the Line of Control (LoC) and delivered a fiery speech accusing India of "state-sponsored terrorism" while reaffirming Pakistan's "unwavering support" for the Kashmiri cause.

During his visit to the Haji Pir sector, a strategic point along the volatile border, General Munir addressed troops and doubled down on Pakistan's long-standing position. He asserted that the Pakistani military is "ever ready" to counter any aggression and will defend the nation's sovereignty.

The Army Chief's remarks, however, went beyond standard military posturing. He directly accused India of pursuing "hegemonistic designs" and claimed that the international community must play a role in resolving the Kashmir issue in line with UN resolutions.

Most critically, his pledge of "unwavering diplomatic, moral, and political support" to the "indigenous freedom struggle" of the Kashmiri people is being viewed by New Delhi as a direct endorsement of the proxy war and terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Indian security officials have long maintained that such high-level statements from Pakistan's military leadership serve as a morale booster and a green light for terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) to continue their operations.

General Munir's provocative visit and speech signal that Pakistan's hardline stance on Kashmir remains firmly in place, threatening to further destabilize the already tense relationship between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
