
PM Narendra Modi: Shri Narendra Modi, The Prime Minister of India, has now come back from his tour of Thailand and Sri Lanka. He travelled to Rameswaram, in the Tamil Nadu state of India, straight from Sri Lanka. He also saw the Ram Setu from the plane. PM Modi himself revealed this information. From his account on ‘X’ social media platform, he shared the clip of Ram Setu Darshan.
PM Narendra Modi wrote, “As I was coming back from Sri Lanka some time ago, I got the opportunity to see Ram Setu. And, very fortunately, it was at the same moment when Surya Tilak was taking place in Ayodhya.” Further he added, “He is the one who connects us all is definitely Shri Ram bless us always.”
Purpose of Tamil Nadu visit?
Many Indians hold the view that Ram Setu is a section of the bridge that Lord Rama along with his army are said to have constructed to cross over to Lanka to wage war with the ravana. In the rajdhani of India he went to unlock the new projects as well as do prayer for the celebration of Shri Ram Navami.
PM Modi flagged off many porjects
In fact, PM Modi was touring Sri Lanka and Thailand. His tour began on April 3. To begin with, PM Modi attended the BIMSTEC conference which was conducted in Bangkok. From there he traveled to Sri lanka, where he flagged off projects in Sri lanka. During this period, PM Modi also went to Mahabodhi temple. He was coming directly to Tamil Nadu on Sunday and on the way, he stopped at Ram Setu.
