Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Nita Ambani, the chairperson of JioStar, wished the audience at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 “Happy WAVES 2025” with inspirational remarks on preserving cultural heritage. In her address titled “Taking Indian Culture to The World” she narrated, India is not just a ‘cultural economy’ but a culture which is an influential identity.

“I’m forever certain about the strength of the Indian culture,” she further remarked while adddressing why Indian epics and folk tales should be global phenomena. “Let Amarchitrakathas be the next Harry Potters. Why not our epics-Ramayana and Mahabharata be made into blockbusters? They should be able to inspire the coming generations.”

Finding Harmony Between Technology and Tradition

Equally important during the speech at the Jio World Centre was to reflect on the acceleration of technological change and the need to preserve statues of wisdom in the Mumbai cultural landscape.

“While constructing a virtual reality, we should embrace spiritual reality. Per our mantra of speed, We should spare a thought stillness. If the race is to artificial intelligence let’s not forget the OG-AI ‘ancient intelligence’,” Ambani said.

Her comments stressed that there needs to be a creative yet traditional blended approach with innovation and culture.
