Threads,X's rival app,has now upgraded its domain's URL from Threads.net to Threads.com,with Meta acquiring it circa last year. The original domain Threads.net was used by Meta after acquiring the startup Threads.com,what was founded by Sequoia backed startup,along with Gradually redirected Threads.com to Threads.net. Now the Threads.com domain serves as the official homepage.

Now after the new domain change Meta also upgraded user access features by allowing users unlock their custom feeds in mobile app layout,centralizing access to '-saved posts' to panes,pinned column removal,control of capturing image posts,through no screenshot required,post elimination, and screenshot free posting on alternate platforms.

Furthermore with over 320 million metas active Threads users,'meta' Threads has became easier for meta to market and publicly access.

New Improvements To the Threads Experience On Desktop

Meta has now incorporated the windows threaded layout in the desktop fiat version of the app as well. The primary benefit being users can access their Twitter likes via the main menu with posts from their nice sidebar menu pinned at the bottom.

New Strategies To Go Head-To-Head With X.

Threads allows users to directly compete with X since they can now migrate their Threads accounts. Meta is rolling out a new update that will enable users to upload their X data archives, which will allow them to be followed by the same users that they follow. This feature is still in the testing phase.
