In a shot in the arm for the internal security of India, security forces in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, have recently busteded four ruthless female Naxalites. This achievement not only refuels the optimism of the forces but also delivers a potent warning to the surviving extremist elements who are still taking shelter under the trees.
Significant Achievement for Security Forces in Balaghat
Madhya Pradesh's Naxalite activity center has for a long time been Balaghat. However, in a decisive operation in the Supkhar forest range of Kanha National park, security personnel have achieved a milestone by killing four high-ranking female operative Naxalites.
These Naxalites were not mere foot soldiers. They were long-serving violent extremists who had core of the Naxalite structure. Their killing helps in advancing the fight against the Left-wing Extremism of the region.
Supkhar Forest Encounter: What Happened
As per first hand accounts, the said confrontation is the result of an embedded recon. The encounter was preceeded with a well planned search action. Based on information available to them, the security forces took swift action to the Supkhar forest which is densely populated and is specific territory of the Naxals. There was a brutal exchange of fire in which four female armed Naxalites were killed.
The operation was executed flawlessly with respect to the forces, while simultaneously dismantling the Naxal group's activities in that locality.
Information on the Dead Naxalites
These four female Naxalites were confirmed to not be run of the mill Naxalites since they had marks of considerable bounty which signified their relevance in the scheme of the corporatism.
National rewards netting the value of ₹62 lakh for killing these women or giving credible intel to kill/capture them had been put out.
Even if they have not been finalized, it is suspected that these were planners of attack and villagers were the foot soldiers for Naxalite forces or were at least very close Kekes through the Naxalite prism; definition is pending.

They were actively participating in several acts of violence throughout Madhya Pradesh and adjacent states.
