Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The Maharashtra government has declared that the Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar will start from October 31, 2025, to July 24, 2028. This will be for a continuous period of 18 months for the very first time in this region, allowing people from all over the world to take part in several sacred activities. Participation opportunities have been increased.
After meeting with thirteen Akharas and major religious figures, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis confirmed the dates and reiterated the preparations for trouble-free devotional experiences. Cultivating roads, managing crowds, protecting the Godavari river, and building new infrastructures will be funded through a budget of ₹2,000 crore.

The entire Kumbh duration will involve 42 Parva Snans and 36 Amrit Snans in two different cities with three ceremonial bathing sessions in each.
