Taking the matter directly to the highest level, Babulal Marandi has written a formal letter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, demanding immediate accountability and a high-level investigation. In his letter, the veteran BJP leader asserted that systemic efforts are underway to destroy crucial evidence. Marandi explicitly stated that the Inspector General (IG) of Prisons has turned a blind eye to the matter, pointing toward a deep-rooted nexus within the state administration. He further alleged that hefty bribes are being distributed among lower-level prison staff and potential witnesses to buy their silence.
Allegations of Covert Medical Procedures Outside Prison
The BJP leader raised serious concerns regarding the movement of the victim, claiming that she is being moved out of the prison under the false pretext of medical illness. According to Marandi, the inmate is being taken to undisclosed locations and private hospitals.
