Suspense crime, Digital Desk : As per the local health authorities over 38 Palestinians, some being minors, were killed in the last two days due to the Israeli airstrikes across Gaza. Hospitals situated in northern Gaza did not open for the second day in a row which makes it impossible to access full casualty data.  

The Ministry of Health in Gaza claimed that a death toll of 3785 is the figure whereas it recorded since the period Israel resumed air strikes after Gaza ceased to fire in March, with the stated intention of wiping out Hamas and liberading 58 hostages cited on the 7th of October 2023.

Lapse in controlling the aid crisis and resignation over a feud relating to jurisdiction

International governance bodies have allegedly forced Israel to loosen restrictions on poverty aid supply into Gaza. COGAT noted that there were indeed 107 aid donor trucks on the Sunday, but the United Nations maintains that this does not meet the requirement of 600 trucks that were previously permitted to cross during the last ceasefire period.

A U.S.-backed aid surveillance program encountered a problem after Jake Wood, the executive director of the associated group, tendered his resignation. He explained that the plan was unable to comply with vital humanitarian principles due to restrictions created by Israel.

The World Food Programme of the United Nations has also dismissed the Israeli assertion that Hamas was stealing aid. “These are desperate civilians running to trucks,” said WFP director, Cindy McCain.

Hezbollah Reaffirms Border Conditions

Hezbollah Leader Naim Kassem said, in commemoration of the 2000 Israel withdrawal from Southern Lebanon, that the group will negotiate disarmament only when Israel terminates its occupation of the five border points and airstrike intrusions.

Kassem said: “Let Israel withdraw and cease its aggression, free the prisoners, fulfill obligations of agreements. Then only will new discussions commence.”

Israel Continues Daily Strikes In Lebanon

Israeli forces still retain control of contended borderline areas, constantly conducting air raids over the southern regions of Beirut and its suburbs. This is despite an already existing American-Middle East negotiated ceasefire six months prior. Israeli officials justify their operations under the pretense of border security.

Red Cross Casualties and Strikes in Central Gaza
Israelis strikes have resulted in the death of civilians, including women and children in Deir al-Balah and Jabaliya. The Gaza Health Ministry reported that during the shelling on Friday, two red cross workers were killed in Khan Younis.

Houthi Missile Intercepted Over Israel
A missile purportedly from Yemen’s Houthi rebels was intercepted by Israeli forces on Sunday. Although the missile triggered air raid sirens in Jerusalem, there were no reported casualties. These actions are said to be in response to the Israeli military campaign in Gaza.

An informal ceasefire was called after the US suspended their bombing campaign against the Houthis earlier this month, however this ceasefire does not extend to Israel.
