This comes with the announcement of a new set of characters taking on famously loved roles for which the first cast announcement alone has caused worldwide. What has surprised and glued people the most? Now we see the acclaimed actor John Lithgow, now playing the role of Albus Dumbledore.
John Lithgow Cast as Dumbledore
Head of Hogwarts will be played by John Lithgow, famously known from 3rd Rock from the Sun and The Crown.

There are some unconfirmed rumors that Cillian Murphy is set to play Lord Voldemort, although no official statement has been made.
