Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : During the cleaning of the JLN (Jawaharlal Nehru) canal near the village of Jhagdoli in the area 2 mortars were discovered creating panic on the site. Information of the discovery of two mortars was transmitted to Rewari bomb disposal squad and local police. Police and bomb disposal squad reached on the site, took the mortars in possession and using a dozer, dug a hole and buried them, so there will be no accident. It has not yet been ascertained from where these two mortars came in the canal and have been washed away with the flowing water or the some person dumped in the canal after all investigation it will come out. As the information received the cleaning work is going on at JLN and it is done by Irrigation Department and while cleaning the work near Jhagdoli village workers came to know about the two mortars after which higher officials of the Irrigation department was informed and after which thepolice and bomb disposal squad were informed about this. The two mortar shells found during the police inquiry, which were in rusty condition, came after that the manager of Sadar Mahendragarh police station received information on which they went on the spot and BDDS (Bomb Disposal Squad) team from Rewari destroyed it and dug it at depth from 15-20 ft to prevent the accident. At present police are searching for the mortar shells to ascertain from where they came to canal, considering the rusty nature it is estimated that it has been dumped in canal several days ago, at present police has not filed a case against the suspected people.
