The much-awaited Bollywood film Gandhari, starring Taapsee Pannu and Ishwak Singh, has officially completed its shooting schedule. Directed by Devashish Makhija, known for his critically acclaimed films Bhonsle and Joram, and written by Kanika Dhillon, the film is an intense revenge drama that is set to push boundaries.
Produced under Katha Pictures, Gandhari is expected to be one of the most physically challenging roles of Taapsee’s career. The action-packed thriller, shot over 50 days in Mumbai and Maharashtra, required immense dedication from the entire cast and crew.
Taapsee Pannu Reflects on Her Grueling Experience
Taapsee Pannu took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the film, calling it a “burnout like never before.” She compared the experience to an NOS (nitrous oxide system) mode for the human body, highlighting the intense physical and mental strain she endured.
Despite the exhaustion, Taapsee expressed immense pride and satisfaction in completing the project. She revealed that the bruises from action sequences were a mark of fulfillment, showcasing the effort and energy invested in the role.

In Gandhari, Taapsee plays a mother on a relentless mission, performing raw and high-intensity action sequences. The film’s storyline is expected to be gripping, packed with emotions and hard-hitting drama.
