A snapshot from US President Donald Trump’s April 10 cabinet meeting has gone viral after viewers spotted a curious note on Elon Musk’s notepad. The Tesla CEO was seen sitting with a name card, pen, glass of water, and a notepad where the words “Top Secret!!” were written in blue ink.
The image quickly spread across social media platforms, sparking a wave of humorous and speculative responses. Some users poked fun at the dramatic phrasing, with comments like “The most Top Secret stuff is written in ballpoint pen” and “Underlined twice, two exclamation points. The most top secret.” Others joked that Musk had clearly written the message himself.

Trade Tensions Add Context to Musk’s Note
The viral moment comes amid recent tensions involving Musk and the Trump administration’s trade advisers. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently addressed the growing public spat between Musk and Trump’s trade adviser Peter Navarro.
“These are obviously two individuals who have very different views on trade and on tariffs. We will let their public sparring continue,” she said, adding that the administration remains committed to transparency.
Musk Clashes with Navarro Over Tesla Remarks
Musk had earlier called Navarro a "moron" in reaction to his statements about Tesla. In an interview, Navarro criticized Musk by saying Tesla is “not a car manufacturer” but “a car assembler.” Musk fired back on X, calling the trade adviser “dumber than a sack of bricks,” and stated that Navarro’s comments were “demonstrably false.”
The argument emerged as Navarro discussed the Trump administration’s aggressive tariff policy and emphasized the need for more car parts to be made in the US.
Speculation Continues Over ‘Top Secret’ Message
Online users have continued to speculate about what Musk’s notepad might contain. Some suggested it could reference Trump’s new tariff plans or perhaps internal discussions on trade policies. Others simply found humor in the situation, with one user summarizing the moment as, “Boys will be boys.”
